Success

For those who have any misconceptions the road to success is not easy. There will be more let down downs then triumphs especially in the beginning. The beginning is all about trying to prove to people why you are valued and why people should care. This is when things seem most hopeless, but you have to forge ahead. Half the road to success is about the journey. But when you have that moment when you feel like yes it's all worth it someone cares it makes the road a lot less bumpy. Styling Love & Hip Hop Erica Mena

So this past weekend I had one of the best highlights so far of my design career. As an up and coming designer one of the the crucial things is to get celebrities to wear but most importantly support your craft. Erica Mena from Love & Hip Hop was in Baltimore doing an appearance and after reaching out she let me know she would be excited to wear my pieces. I have to say Nubian Heritage is one of my favorite products. I have been using them for a few years now since I left New York. But now that I am in Maryland Nubian Heritage is not as accessible, but every time I make it to a Whole Foods I make sure to grab a bar. But since my launch I am a die hard fan. My Launch Party

So in case you missed it last week was my launch party. It was fabulous. We had it on U street in DC. Sunni from WPGC was the host and she was fabulous. She rocked one of my original chains and it has been renamed "The Sunni" Body chain. Every time someone ask about it they mention her so it's only right it be named after her. We had celebrity Chef Sammy prepare amazine food, DJ Mim kept everyone in great spirits and of course the premier of my Spring/Summer 2012 collection was showcase. But I have to give a big Thank you to Aaron Kelly of IRB Corp. Without him my premier would not have been possible. Check the recap and pictures below.
